海南華僑中學(xué)是?？谑袑偈≈攸c中學(xué)、海南省一級甲等學(xué)校，創(chuàng)辦于1938年，是我國最早的國立華僑中學(xué)。學(xué)校位于海南省海口市，現(xiàn)有海秀路高中部和西海岸初中部兩個校區(qū)，校園環(huán)境優(yōu)美，設(shè)施一流，配套完整，功能齊全，是一所現(xiàn)代化花園學(xué)校。

Founded in 1938 as the earliest state-run overseas Chinese middle school in China, Hainan Overseas Chinese Middle School is now a key middle school in Haikou and a first-class school in Hainan Province. Located in Haikou City, both the high school campus and the junior school campus boast of beautiful modern garden-like environments, first-class facilities, and complete supporting facilities and functions.

學(xué)校師資雄厚，人杰畢至。沈從文、張兆和、查良釗、陳序經(jīng)等先賢曾在校工作。目前有教職工553人，中高級教師占比83%，其中有正高級教師8人，全國模范教師1人，全國優(yōu)秀教師2人，享受國務(wù)院政府特殊津貼的國家“萬人計劃”教書名師1名，特級教師4人，國家級骨干教師11人，海南省省優(yōu)專家2人，“南海名家”1人，省市拔尖人才6人，515工程人才4人。

The School is proud to have abundant qualified and outstanding teachers. Famous sages like Shen Congwen, Zhang Zhaohe, Zha Liangzhao, and Chen Xujing used to work here. It now has 533 faculty members, 83% of whom hold intermediate and senior professional titles. Among the faculty staff, there are eight teachers with senior titles, one National Model Teacher, two National Outstanding Teachers, one member of the “National Ten-Thousands Talents Program” who enjoys a special government allowance from the State Council, four Special-grade Senior Teachers, eleven National-level Backbone Teachers, two Outstanding Experts in Hainan Province, one “Nanhai Expert”, six provincial and municipal “Top-notch Talents”, and four members of the “515 Talent Program” .

學(xué)校歷史悠久，辦學(xué)經(jīng)驗豐富，成績突出。先后榮獲“全國教育系統(tǒng)先進集體”、“全國青少年科普創(chuàng)新示范學(xué)校”、“國家體育傳統(tǒng)項目學(xué)?！?、“全國五四紅旗團委”、“全國中小學(xué)知識產(chǎn)權(quán)教育示范學(xué)校”、“普通高中新課程新教材實施國家級示范校”等一系列榮譽稱號。近幾年中高考連獲新突破，高中畢業(yè)生 45% 以上進入雙一流大學(xué)，70% 以上進入 211 大學(xué)，學(xué)校被清華、北大等30多余高校授予“優(yōu)質(zhì)生源基地”。中考成績連續(xù)10年名列全省前茅，穩(wěn)居全市第一。

With a long history , the school has accumulated rich educational experience and made outstanding educational achievements. It won a series of honorary titles including “National Education Advanced Unit”, “National Youth Science Innovation Demonstration School”, “National Sports Traditional Project School”, “National May 4th Red Flag Chinese Communist Youth League Committee”, “National Model School of Intellectual Property Education”, and “National Model School of Ordinary High School Curriculum and Text Book Reform”. In recent years, new records have been created in students’ performance in college entrance examinations. More than 45% of our graduates were admitted to “Double First-Class” universities, and more than 70% to universities of “211 Project”. The School are awarded by more than 30 universities as “Quality Student Base”, including Tsinghua University and Peking University. Our performance in the high school entrance examination has been among the best in the province for 10 consecutive years and ranked the first in the city for years.
